As I stated a couple of days ago, I am new to the BWE blogs, but the impact has been profound and immediate. BW, such as video chicks, are really the enemy, not the not PGBV. They enable the rappers and "ride or die" for the "brothas".Selectivity, exclusivity is what I am seeing in the BWE movement. And if you're a hooker at Duke or a video vixen profitting at the expense of my image, you don't deserve my attention, far less my support. In this latest example which was all the talk of “Black Twitter,” following his release of a diss-track ( a song where you insult someone), man CHILD Joe Budden went on to threaten his former paramour Esther Baxter on Twitter after she responded to him accusing her of “cheating on him ”(what is this middle school) while she was pregnant with his child. I never in my life thought that I would be abused, and further more, lose a child because of it. We broke up that night that he decided to take this argument and make it physical. So in order for it to not go public, I dropped all of the charges with the agreement and understanding that neither of us would ever talk about it. I don’t know why anyone would ever want to tell someone that they did something like this. Baxter KNEW that no one would believe her allegations against Mr. Afterall, she’s a “video chick” which around here is the equivalent of a cultural suicide bomber.” predictably sided with Joe Budden, just as they sided with Chris Brown, and will general side with any man in alleged violent conflict with a Black girl or woman. In fact in about 6 months once she has time to Google herself, she’s likely to pen and angry comment, which will not be published, telling everybody on the blog to shut up and stop talking about her because we don’t know anything.HOWEVER, when the victim of abuse is not a Perfect Black Girl Victim, that’s when we should shout down their abusers the loudest.
Between Twitter, Facebook, texting and email, some folks carry on entire relationships without ever seeing or touching each other.
Budden a platform to continue to abuse his alleged victim and mock accusations that he beats the hell out of every woman he’s been in a relationship with.
She’s private, I tried to be private, nobody has to know anything and it was killing me, it was destroying me inside.
How wonderful to have a part in glorifying a man who brags about it in a song and then turns around and says he never did it... This is why I stay of those 'black' blogs and websites.
I don't really want to believe it, but I think I a lot of black folks are so celebrity obssessed that they actually believe these people are demi-gods.
Even the ones who suppose to news oriented, Loop21, Atlanta Post, and Clutch all have the same journalist bent of treating vile gossip like it's actually news.
